What brands do you use?
I only use trusted and high-quality brands. My kit is well-stocked to accommodate the needs of all ages, skin types, and skin tones. These are a few of my favourite brands.
How long do Hair and Makeup appointments usually take?
I will arrive at your appointment 15 minutes prior to our booking time to set up and discuss the look you are hoping to achieve. All approximate booking times are noted on each service page.
Additional Information:
Please let me know if you do have particularly long, thick, or curly hair OR if you would like to book a themed / costume look as this may affect your booking time.
For your booking
Please prepare for your booking by having a clean face with no product applied. Clean and dry hair. Please ensure your hair has been washed the night before or the day of your booking.
Work Station
Where possible please provide an area I can work at for your booking. A table/counter space, good lighting, and access to power points.
Weddings:
Do I need a trial? And what to expect.
A trial is recommended prior to your wedding date. This is the perfect opportunity to discuss your ideas and chat through any hair and makeup inspiration you have. I will get an understanding of the look you want to create and make suggestions about what we can achieve. It is so important to feel confident you have the perfect bridal look, a practice run will also help me plan for the big day!
A trial includes a consultation and one hair and/or makeup application. Please let me know if you would like to book for more than one style at your trial as this requires an additional fee. Once your trial is completed I will follow up to chat through your trial look, if there is anything you would like to change, and confirm a schedule for the wedding day. We can also discuss any ideas for your wedding party to compliment your look.
Do I need to buy lipstick?
I provide all clients with a complimentary test pot of your lipstick colour and an applicator for touch-ups. A wedding can be a very long day! At your trial, I can make suggestions if anything else like a powder compact might be needed.
