Important information

What brands do you use?

I only use trusted, high-quality brands, and my kit is well-stocked to suit all ages, skin types, and skin tones.

How long do hair and makeup appointments usually take?

Please allow 1 hour for hair or makeup, and 2 hours if you’re booking both. I also need a little time on either side for setup and pack down so everything runs smoothly. I usually arrive 15 minutes before your booking so we can chat through your look and start the day feeling relaxed and organised.

Additional information

If you have particularly long, thick, or curly hair or are booking a themed or costume look, please let me know as this may affect your booking time.

For your booking

  • Please arrive with clean, product-free skin.
  • Hair should be clean and completely dry, ideally washed the night before or on the morning of your booking.

Work Station & Parking

I’ll be bringing my full professional hair and/or makeup kit and a makeup chair to your booking, so a little space to work makes a big difference to how smoothly the morning runs. Ideally, this means:

  • A clear table or counter space ready to go (think kitchen table or desk space)
  • A power point nearby for hair tools and lighting
  • Good natural light (or space for me to set up my own light)

Having this space ready means we can get straight into creating your look and keep the booking relaxed. If you’re unsure where’s best, I can help find the perfect spot when I arrive.

Easy parking access is also really appreciated, as I’ll be carrying my full kit with me. Please check if your accommodation has a parking space or visitor parking available, and let me know. Paid parking costs will need to be reimbursed.

Weddings

Do I need a trial? What to expect:
A trial is highly recommended before your wedding day. It’s the perfect chance to chat through your ideas and try out your hair and/or makeup look so you feel confident and comfortable with the plan for your big day.

Your trial includes a consultation and one hair and/or makeup application. If you’d like to try more than one style at your trial, please let me know as this requires additional time and a small fee. After your trial, I’ll follow up to chat through the look, note any changes you’d like, and confirm a wedding day schedule. We can also discuss ideas for your wedding party to complement your look.

Do I need to buy lipstick?
I provide all clients with a complimentary test pot of your lipstick colour and an applicator for touch-ups. A wedding day can be long, so I’ll also suggest if anything else, like a powder compact, might be helpful.
